It's been a busy couple of weeks, and I've fallen behind on writing. I've been bouncing from here to there so much that I sometimes don't know where I'm laying down to sleep.
First up was a photoshoot on Nantucket for Wellwed Magazine's upcoming Fall issue. We had a fun color palette to work with and enjoyed spending time with Placesetters, Marty Kelly Papers, Jodi's Cakes, and Zofia Photography.
Visited family over Mother's Day and took my niece to her first Mother-Daughter Tea party (the Aunties got in on the action). So much fun to watch the kids spend a lovely afternoon with their moms.
Taught a workshop in Maine with the talented Brea of Brea McDonald Photography. Teaching the ins and outs of magazine and blog submissions. Met some lovely vendors, had great discussions on the future of magazines and their place in the electronic world of blogging, and issued a challenge. I can't wait to see the results.
Bookings have started for the 2011 season and we are in full swing with weddings. We look forward to seeing our clients in the coming weeks - and if this weather is any indication, we are in for a fabulous season. Let the explosion of peonies begin!
