So, we are a little late in posting this - had to focus on our fabulous couple this past weekend and all the details that went in to their big day.
Getting back to our dishing about design - for the last party of this wedding weekend extravaganza, a formal wine dinner in Toppers at The Wauwinet was the finale. To create yet another look different from the rest of the festivities, the china, linens and furniture inside the restaurant were used. Beautiful pale buttery yellows, blues and ivories were the color palette. We chose to use Mother Nature's best blooms and designed each table a little differently in silver mercury vases. Groupings of lily-of-the-valley, garden roses, gardenias, fiddleheads, freesia, callas and snowberries created a formal look as guests dine on carefully paired food and wine courses.
