Kerry and Paul were married this past August on Cape Cod with a tented reception at the bride's home. We had such a fun time working with this couple. When I first saw their save the date I knew they had a sense of humor and we were going to have a good time working on all the details.
Kerry chose an a-typical bridesmaid dress from J.Crew (it had a pattern) and that was the launching point for everything that followed. They also have a huge love for their adorable dog and really wanted to be sure to include that on the big day. We met up at a rental company to start looking at ideas for the tabletops. When all was said and done we went with a classic navy linen, white runner and green & white flowers.
Because the yard at the reception site was so big, we really had space to play with. The escort cards were hung from trees around the pool area, cocktail hour revolved around some fun rental furniture, and a great big lawn was the perfect spot to pitch a Sperry tent.
