Soirée Floral: Throw Back Thursday - An Oceanside Wedding in Blue, Green and White by Soirée Floral

This couple had a very classic, Nantucket feel to their wedding. Their ceremony took place at the First Congregational Church where we lined the aisles with lush pew markers hung with sky-blue ribbon. The altar arrangements were grand in shades of blue, white and green. Incorporating Nantucket's true summer colors were the inspiration for this couple's wedding day, no color was too saturated - even when it came to the bridal party! The bridesmaids wore a sherbet-coral cold and the groomsmen wore light beige suits. We gave the bridesmaids something colorful to carry - a petite, round bouquet of green and blue hydrangea with spray roses while the bride carried a classic all-white bouquet that complemented her gorgeous and sleek mermaid gown.

The reception took place at a private home where no detail was left out! The tent was airy and over looking the ocean, giving guests the perfect seaside experience. The tables were dressed in a soft, pale green linen and accompanied by white ballroom chairs, silver chargers and crystal cut stemware - it was all about elegance.

Our centerpieces were lush and fluffy with hydrangea, roses and dahlias. We had two different table scape designs, one with green and white blooms and the other with green, white and blue - reminiscent to the bouquets and the church arrangements.
